Crisis Communications:

We view a crisis as an issue – either positive or negative – that has the potential to profoundly affect an organization.  A specialized subset of issues management, we approach crisis communications by helping organizations think preemptively.  We have the foresight to assist leadership in recognizing the issues that can, if managed poorly, irreparably damage an organization’s reputation. 

During a crisis, we help our clients communicate early and often with all stakeholders including employees, the public and the media.  When handled rapidly and truthfully, bad situations often can be neutralized and, in some instances, even lead to positive exposure.  Specific offerings include crisis communications and spokesperson training, development of crisis/preparedness plans/policies/standard operating procedures and the development and execution of real-world crisis/tabletop exercises to train staff.
